General

These terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions) determine the relationship between you, a user of our services or this website www.bluehealerscounselling.com.au (BHC Website) and Oliver de Nicolai Trading as Blue Healers Counselling ABN: 75 694 256 459 (‘BHC’, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’).

These Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer (together, referred to as Terms and Conditions) apply to you as a visitor to the BHC Website. Any information submitted to BHC will be collected by BHC in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By using our services or the BHC Website you agree to our Terms and Conditions which are subject to change at any time. We recommend that you periodically review our Terms and Conditions for any changes.

Fees & Payment

A normal Counselling session lasts 50 minutes. Our current session fees are published on our website. Session fees (50%) are payable before the time of consultation via credit card through the booking system. Payment terms are strictly same day of appointment with 100% of payment.

Cancellation Policy

Late cancelled appointments impact your treatment progress and your Counsellor who has allocated an hour of their time aside to see you. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice.

If you cancel or reschedule your appointment within this period, or fail to attend, the cancellation fees below will apply (inclusive of GST).

48+ hours notice: No Fee

0-48 hours notice: 100% non-refundable

This cancellation policy is subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or cancel sessions without notice. Under these circumstances, clients can request a full refund or reschedule.

In Person Services During COVID-19

By attending our practice, you are assuming the risk of exposure to COVID-19 or another public health risk. This risk may increase if you travel by public transportation, taxi, or a ride-sharing service.

To obtain services in person, you agree to take certain precautions which will help keep you, us and the community safer from exposure and the medical consequences of contracting COVID-19.

By coming to our practice you agree to;

Answer questions relating to flu-like symptoms and prior travel on the day of your appointment(s) and follow the instructions given (the instructions are based on current Government current advice, therefore, can change from time to time);

Arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time;

Wash your hands or use alcohol-based hand sanitiser before you enter the practice;

Adhere to safe distancing precautions of 1.5m between yourself and others at the practice;

Adhere to good respiratory hygiene while at the practice e.g. covering your mouth and nose with a bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze, disposing of tissues and then using hand sanitiser;

Make no physical contact (e.g. no shaking hands) with others at the practice;

Try not to touch your face or eyes with your hands and sanitise your hands if you need to do so;

If you arrive for an appointment and we believe that you have a fever or other COVID-19 symptoms or believe you have been exposed, we will have to require you to leave the practice immediately. We can reschedule your appointment or follow up with services by Telehealth as appropriate; and

If there is a resurgence of COVID-19 case numbers or if other health concerns arise, we may require that in-person sessions are postponed or held via Telehealth. If you decide at any time that you would feel safer with Telehealth services, you must let your Counsellor know.

Emergency & Crisis Support

Blue Healers Counselling are not an emergency or crisis response service and your Counsellor will not generally be contactable outside their regular work hours. In the event of immediate danger, please contact emergency services at 000. If you require crisis support or immediate counselling please refer to the Emergency page on our website, which includes 24/7 crisis support services information and contact numbers. Alternatively, please go to your nearest hospital emergency department or visit your General Practitioner.
